VENEZIANO'S

My great-grandfather Carlo, a proud man ... like his mustache

WHO

WE ARE

VENEZIANO'S is the result of an ancient family tradition and numerous personal experiences around the world.

VENEZIANO'S is a restaurant project but also a cultural and training experience, with the aim of exporting the most famous and widespread Italian food tradition abroad.

VENEZIANO'S is ARTISAN COOKING

In our kitchens all products are handmade, made with poor and genuine raw materials, with ancient recipes handed down from generation to generation.

VENEZIANO'S is RESTAURANTS

Our products can be eaten comfortably seated at our tables, or be consumed at home using the take away service.

VENEZIANO'S is TRAINING

Our chefs and bakers periodically organize training and cultural exchange moments with their customers; tastings and training courses are the basis of our project.

VENEZIANO'S is SHOP

Finally, at our facilities it is possible to purchase all the original products; from pasta to coffee, from wine to traditional sauces, so you can cook Italian even directly at home.

Veneziano's is the story of two dreams: mine and my grandfather's.

It all started in the early 1900s when Carlo, my great - grandfather - the one in the picture who shows off his huge black mustache and an austere air - on his return from an unlucky trip to the United States (where he had tried in vain for luck) decided to open a small bakery in a small village in the province of Bari, in southern Italy.

He had a family with 4 children ... it was a very brave choice, don't you think?

The eldest of his 4 children was my grandfather, Michele - in this photo is the boy with a flashy "red" tuft. Together with their younger brother Lorenzo, very young (grandfather Carlo unfortunately left them too early) they began to successfully manage the ELECTRIC BAKERY , still open in Grumo Appula and managed by his grandchildren.

In 1930 my Grandfather Michele decided to leave his small hometown and seek fortune in the neighboring villages (he opened a bakery in Bitetto and one in Modugno) until he arrived in Bari where he finally had the opportunity to experiment with his ambition with luck: the production of fresh pasta. From that moment on his activity experienced a great growth and in a short time he managed to open a series of artisan pasta factories.

But my grandfather Michele as a good Italian (as well as a good Pugliese) was not made to "rest".

After the opening of several pasta factories in his name, he moved his gaze and his ambitions well beyond the regional borders; he planned to open a pasta factory in Rome and dreamed of returning to the United States, where his father was unable to make a fortune but where his other two brothers now lived.

Today I want to inherit that stubbornness and that spirit of continuous growth, I feel I have to complete a path that began many years ago.

Since then a century has almost passed, the dream of bringing gastronomic artisan excellence to the world continues and I want to share it with my children.

Welcome to the era of Italian Food Style Everywhere, welcome to Veneziano's !
